For 20+ years, Silas Von Morisse has managed top blue chips galleries in New York City including Christie’s Haunch of Venison Gallery. With her gallery, Silas von Morisse gallery, she produced and curated numerous solo artists exhibitions and group shows and helped manage artists careers to international recognition. She represented 22 emerging artists, including older generations of artists deserving re-introduction in the art world. The gallery received critical acclaim, great support and press coverage. Silas expertise includes: artists studio visits, curatorial and editorial expertise, selection of works, “accrochage”, artists presentations and marketing. Prior to her involvement in the Art World, from 1990 to 1996, Silas created, curated and produced “SHORT CIRCUIT, THE FESTIVAL OF AMERICAN SHORT FILMS”, in Paris, Monaco and Baltimore, promoting the best American filmmakers at the time. In Association with the American Center in Paris (November 1990), in Association with the Tourism Bureau of the Principality of Monaco, under the Patronage of Prince Albert II, (July 1993), and at Gaumont Theaters Champs Elysées, Paris (1995) and The Walters Art Museum, Baltimore (1995).
